Restoring a Fire Damaged Fireplace in Marshfield

A customer in Marshfield had a large amount of creosote built up in their chimney. This resulted in a fire within their chimney that caused damage to their fireplace and their living room. SERVPRO of Marshfield/Rockland used their advanced fire damage restoration equipment to remove damaged material and clear lingering odor and soot so that reconstruction could begin. For this project, we boarded up the compromised chimney and began removing the water using dehumidifiers and air movers. After using specialized equipment and techniques to remove smoke and soot from ceilings, walls, and other surfaces, we cleaned, sanitized, and disinfected all of the restorable items and structures that were damaged by the fire.
